For cloud backups, your upload speed is usually the relevant connection speed. A fast download plan does not necessarily mean equally fast uploads.

The first cloud backup can be very large. Later incremental backups may upload only new or changed data, so their transfer window can be much shorter.

Why the real upload may be slower

Provider throttling, Wi-Fi, encryption, compression, many small files, competing traffic and the remote service itself can reduce sustained throughput. Treat the times above as ideal baselines.
